We are social entrepreneurs organized generally in cooperatives, social cooperatives and we act in the field of tourism - sustainable tourism, responsible tourism without access barriers.

Tourism that can help people to understand and to appreciate diversity.
Many of us have some experience from social exclusion because of unemployment, disability, mental illness or other reasons. Many of us had to fight hard for social inclusion, our rights, our equal opportunities.
Therefore we are convinced that our environment, our local communities need to widen their horizons, to become more open, to be more able to include diversity.

Tourists, travellers, strangers can help us to open the mind and can bring more richness to our environment.
We like to welcome these strangers, to include them to our community.

That’s why we decided to become hoteliers, to open hotels, hostels or B&B.

We act as a network, a support structure of social co-operatives.
We use a special method to transfer and to replicate our quality criteria and success secrets - we call it Le Mat’s social franchising - in order to offer our guests the Le Mat hospitality in every town, region, mountain all over Europe and maybe also all over the world.
