Le Mat hotels, hostels and B&Bs

We are a hotel, hostel, B&B association which is continuously developing.
Internally in our organisation and externally we distinguish in the Le Mat hotels or hostels with the brand and the Le Mat Hotels, hostels which are friends.

Many small hotels or hostels are managed by social cooperatives in Europe and many of them would need help to be promoted but they still have to do a lot of work in order to reach the Le Mat quality. We strongly believe in networking as an instrument for empowerment and we invented the brand and the social franchising method in order to enable quality networking between social entrepreneurs.

Le Mat Hotels and Hostels Italy are those that started the work. Actually in Italy you have the opportunity to sleep in the following Le Mat Hotels.

    Cannara is near Assisi and Perugia in the middle of Italy – Umbria.. Prices are really affordable and you will have an excellent starting point to learn many things about central Italy. The most remarkable fact is that children are really very welcome and that there is also an excellent restaurant.

    Olinda is a very particolar place in the middle of a park of the old mental health Hospital Paolo Pini in Milan. Ostello Olinda is managed by the social coop called “the factory of Olinda” and this factory has many workshops in order to produce a culture of social entrepreneurship, empowerment and inclusion. The prices of the Hostel are really low and we recommend the restaurant Jodok.

We are also members of www.aitr.it (the Italian Association of responsible Tourism) and together with the members of AITR we organize wonderful tours and holidays in Italy.
